Sami is passionate about empowering and supporting education innovators to create sustainable, transformative changes in K-12 education. At Cambiar Education, she plays a crucial role in supporting both the Cambiar core venture and Thrive grant teams, leveraging her background in finance, venture capital, and education.

Prior to joining Cambiar, Sami was the Director of Finance & Innovation Strategy at Coney Island Prep, where she led strategic initiatives and drove operational efficiencies for the K-12 charter school serving 1,300+ students. Previously, Sami invested in and supported early stage start-ups at Nyca Partners, a fintech venture capital firm. Sami began her career in finance as an equity research analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  

Sami holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Cornell University. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and cheering on the New York Knicks.
