Cornelius Dukes is Senior Director of Partnerships, People and Impact at All Means All.
All Means All partners with school and system leaders to increase equitable outcomes and opportunities for students with disabilities and other intersectional identities that have been historically marginalized. Its 15-month leadership development cohort experience uniquely builds adult culture, mindset and technical skills with relevant tools, high quality training, and context-responsive coaching – providing a thoughtful, rigorous, and transformative approach to building a better overall school and system.
As Senior Director of Partnerships, People and Impact, Cornelius leads others to be so clear, excited about and engaged in the work AMA is doing that the organization continues to grow enrollment in size and diversity, foster philanthropic partners and attract and retain the strongest team.
Cornelius is a lifelong educator known for driving student achievement and enhancing school climate through innovative programs and strategies. Cornelius’ career has been driven by his passion for restorative practices, authentic community-building, and supporting students with exceptionalities.
Prior to his current role with All Means All, Cornelius served as a turnaround school leader for a K-8 charter school in South Florida. In this role, Cornelius was responsible for designing and implementing strategies focused on continuous academic and school improvement. After one year, the school improved student proficiency by 40%, making it one of the top-growing schools in the network.
Cornelius is the co-founder and leadership coach at I.D.E.A. Education Consulting, LLC. Through this venture, he provides individualized coaching and support to school leaders across the country. In 2024, Cornelius founded MPower, a community designed for black male educators of public schools across the country. MPower aims to create a supportive community where black male educators can develop and advance their careers in educational leadership.
Cornelius's commitment to improving outcomes specifically for marginalized students is evident throughout his career. As an Assistant Principal at Abramson High School, he implemented restorative practices at both the school and organizational levels, significantly reducing out-of-school suspensions and improving attendance rates which led to a significant increase in overall GPAs. As the founding principal at The Center for Resilience in New Orleans, Cornelius established the city’s first therapeutic day high school for students with behavior exceptionalities and emotional trauma.
