OnYourMark is an early literacy tutoring initiative bringing individualized and science-based foundational skills reading instruction to K-2 students across the country through virtual high impact tutoring. OnYourMark believes in a world where all children are thriving readers.

Eric is a dedicated professional with a passion for empowering youth and creating opportunities for underserved communities. With over 15 years of experience in education and talent acquisition, Eric brings a unique blend of leadership, compassion, and expertise to his work.

Eric began his career as an educator, teaching for five years in a Title I school, where he made a lasting impact on students facing significant challenges. He then transitioned to Dallas Independent School District (DISD), serving as a senior recruiter for a decade. In this role, he identified and recruited top talent to support the district's mission of providing quality education to all students.

As the co-founder of Helping Innercity Kids in Danger (HIKIDS), a nonprofit organization, Eric has dedicated himself to mentoring and uplifting youth in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Through HIKIDS, he has helped countless young people dream big, succeed academically, and embrace personal growth through nature and physical activities.

Eric holds a Master’s in Professional Development with a concentration in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from McMurry University, where he was also a proud four-year member of the football team. His educational background and athletic experience underscore his commitment to teamwork, resilience, and building stronger communities.
