As a Lead Designer, Leonard works with Cambiar's partners to co-design solutions rooted in the needs of the students and communities that they serve. 

He was previously a Director at EdSurge, helping K-12 schools discover and select technology products. He also served as a design architect and mentor for the Expanded Success Initiative Design Fellowship, which launched four culturally relevant public high schools in the NYCDOE, using design thinking methods and habits.

Leonard is a serial entrepreneur and currently CEO of Playback Worldwide, a technology firm focused on student-athletes and informal learning.

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and M.Ed in Learning, Design and Technology from Stanford.
