Rachel serves as Senior Program Manager for Cambiar Education.

The Cambiar Catalyst Fellowship accelerates the most promising diverse talent into instructionally-focused senior school systems roles, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to work with their communities and enact transformational change.  

Rachel currently serves as the Senior Program Manager for Cambiar Education where she leads the program evaluation and project management work for the Cambiar Catalyst Fellowship, and delivers professional learning to school systems leaders across the country. Rachel is also part of the Cambiar Catalyst team that works with school systems and other education partners to strategically engage their communities and stakeholders in the process of improving outcomes for students.

Prior to this work, Rachel served at the Louisiana Department of Education as the Project Director for SPED Fellow Academy, a comprehensive development program for novice special education directors across Louisiana. She has also served in other leadership roles such as Assistant Administrator of Curriculum and Instruction and Special programs at one of the most diverse private schools in the Greater New Orleans area, founding Regional Academic Collaborative Team Manager at Democracy Prep Baton Rouge, and School Support Specialist at Jefferson Parish Public Schools.

Rachel is a 2009 Teach for America South Louisiana alumni and has served as an elementary teacher in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Rachel holds a BA in English and Political Science from the University of Washington-Seattle and a Masters in Education Administration from the University of New Orleans.
