OnYourMark is an early literacy tutoring initiative bringing individualized and science-based foundational skills reading instruction to K-2 students across the country through virtual high impact tutoring.

Ami brings over a decade of EdTech start-up experience in operations, process improvement, sourcing, fulfillment, training, and customer success to her role as Coordinator of Program Operations at OnYourMark. With a knack for streamlining workflows and making systems more efficient and user friendly, she thrives in the challenges that often arise within growing teams. From designing scalable systems to mentoring colleagues, she’s driven by the belief that teamwork really does make the dream work and provides space for creating lasting impacts. 

By leaning into her sometimes childlike curiosity, Ami enjoys continually learning new things in order to solve problems and build authentic relationships. Discovering she is both neurodivergent and part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community late in life has only strengthened her resolve to connect with others on a human level, striving to see the human first in each situation. Learning should be accessible and inclusive for all, and she firmly believes that, with individualized support and tools to build self-confidence, anyone is capable of learning.

Outside of work, you can likely find Ami reading, gaming, enjoying one of her other many dust-covered creative hobbies, and spending time with her husband and teenager–even if the teenager hisses the entire time. You can probably also find her in a physical or digital stationary aisle in order to feed her notebook and pen addiction.
