Kara is proud to support the efforts of The Liber Institute to elevate and amplify the voices of Indigenous young people, families, and educators, and to stand with them in partnership as they work toward sustainable school change.

Kara's career spans 30 years, advocating for children as a classroom teacher, leader, and over the past 10 years as a change agent.

Focused on the power of school community voice to drive lasting change, Kara leads implementation and strategy work at The Liber Institute, collaborating with the team to design and implement innovative and context-specific programming for Liber partner schools.
