Megan Johnson is the Chief Operating Officer for The Center for Education Market Dynamics. In her role, Meg is responsible for translating CEMD’s strategic vision into effective, scalable operational practices that drive impact.

Meg's expertise lies in building high-performing teams, executing data-driven transformations that drive sustainable growth. Before joining CEMD, Meg spent more than a decade in the private sector at Pearson Education, where she held a series of leadership roles with increasing responsibility. As Vice President of Business Operations for North America, she was responsible for aligning strategy, operations, and resource planning across a multi-billion-dollar organization. Prior to that, Meg led the team that transformed how Pearson worked, introducing data driven tools, reporting and training at large scale. Meg’s early career also included roles in product development and marketing where she helped develop and bring to market innovative science programs that reached millions of students nationwide. 

Meg & her husband live in Charleston, SC where they enjoy visits from their kids and all the low country specialties, including oyster roasts and music that can best be described as "stomp & holler."
