Run the Future is a joint social venture between Cambiar Education and Formation Ventures that offers identity-affirming and highly engaging online and self-paced entrepreneurial learning experiences focused on BIPOC youth and young adults.

As a co-facilitator for Run the Future, Rosy works closely with our learners, coaching them as they conceptualize and launch their own business ventures. When she is not facilitating, Rosy is creating data reports to analyze learner feedback, conducting empathy interviews, and optimizing Run the Future's social media and branding. 

Rosmeilyn, or Rosy (as she is known by loved ones), is primarily driven by a desire to empower children and adolescents from under-resourced backgrounds. She works towards this goal by pursuing opportunities in mental health and education, as she sees the crucial role that home and school environments play in the lives of youth. Her passion to support this community primarily stems from her own experience as a Cuban immigrant. Moving to Miami at the age of six, Rosy’s life was transformed by teachers and mentors who took an interest in her academic and personal success. With their support and encouragement, Rosy graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in May 2023, becoming the first person in her family to graduate from college.

Prior to joining Cambiar Education and Formation Ventures, Rosy worked as a crisis counselor for the national suicide lifeline. Through this work, she supported a large number of people facing a variety of mental health concerns. During her time in college, she was also heavily involved with Princeton University’s Religion and Forced Migration Initiative, interviewing refugees about their journey to the United States and preserving their stories in an oral history archive. Both of these experiences taught Rosy to be an active and compassionate listener, skills she puts into practice when interacting with learners in the Run the Future program.
